Services

Carolina Surgical Clinic of Charlotte is independently owned and operated by its surgeons. There are five General Surgeons in the clinic, and the practice is dear to all of those working here.  Our group size allows us to be quickly responsive to our patients, and to give them the personal attention they deserve.  We value long-term relationships with our patients and their families, and we are committed to the delivery of excellence.

All of our surgeons are certified by the American Board of Surgery.  This highly regarded, non-profit organization was formed in 1937 to certify the qualifications of surgeons who fulfill its rigorous standards.  As Diplomats of the American Board of Surgery our surgeons are qualified to provide a comprehensive range of surgical care.

Additionally, our two bariatric surgeons, Drs. Melkonian and Lowe, have been designated as Center of Excellence Bariatric surgeons.  Our surgeons perform a large volume of breast surgery, oncologic (cancer) surgery, obesity & bariatric surgery, colon surgery, and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. We remain up to date with the latest surgical advances to provide our patients with the least invasive solution for their condition. Below is just a short list of conditions that we manage, along with their corresponding treatments.
